Amelia is our singleton out of Scarlett and Knot. She is a smart, happy, funny girl that makes us laugh every day!
In May 2016, Amelia passed her TD on the first try! On the second day, with no alternates, she passed a second TD with flying colours.
Amelia has made quite a start in the show ring. She picked up 5 points towards her Canadian Championship as a puppy, winning a Best Puppy in Group along the way. At just 12 months old she went on to win a Group 3 from the classes and then a BEST IN SHOW from the classes the next day to finish her Canadian Championship! Thank you to judge Sylvia Barkey for this win! The same day her mom, Scarlett, also went Best in Show! We cannot wait to see what's next for Amelia!
In October 2016, Amelia earned her Urban Tracking Dog title (UTD) on the first try! In December she earned her Rally Novice (RN) title in one weekend, earning three High in Class scores along the way. This qualified her for a Versatility Certificate from the Golden Retriever Club of Canada - all before she turned 18 months old!
2017 has been quite a year for Amelia! She passed her Tracking Dog Excellent (TDX) test on the first try in May. She was shown a total of three weekends this summer and quickly finished her Grand Championship, picking up Group wins and placements along the way. On October 1st, she passed her UTDX on the first try to become a Tracking Champion! The sky's the limit for this girl!
In October 2018, Amelia passed her 2nd UTDX test and then passed her 2nd TDX test in June 2019, to earn her Master Tracking Championship title!
