Located just outside of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada, I have been involved with Golden Retrievers for over 25 years. It started with my first Golden "Barclay" in Junior Handling and I never looked back! Since then I have trained and competed with my Goldens in conformation, obedience, rally, agility, tracking and working certificate/hunt tests. I strongly believe that Goldens should be well-rounded, multi-purpose dogs that can do it all!  All of my dogs have been owner handled and trained to all wins and titles. Over the years I have instructed puppy kindergarten, competition obedience, conformation and tracking classes. I am member of the Canadian Kennel Club, the Golden Retriever Club of Canada, the Golden Retriever Club of America and the Thunder Bay Kennel & Training Club. 

 

My goal is to produce happy, healthy Goldens with correct structure and movement. Above all, I believe a "true" golden temperament is the most important quality of a Golden Retriever. I breed very selectively and not often - each litter is always carefully planned out. Before being bred, our dogs must have OFA Hip, Elbow, Heart and Eye clearances (checked annually). I also do genetic testing for prcd-PRA, PRA1, PRA2, Ichthyosis 1 & 2, Degenerative Myelopathy and Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis As a member of both the GRCC and GRCA, I strive to follow their Breeder's Code of Ethics. All puppies are CKC registered and come with lifetime breeder support. They are always vet checked, have been dewormed, microchipped and come with a health guarantee. Puppies are raised in our house and are part of the family. They are well socialized and exposed to a variety of people, objects, surfaces, and sounds all using the Puppy Culture training program.

My dogs are family members first and foremost - they live in the house, sleep on the bed and are quite spoiled! The dogs have miles of trails to walk every day, and enjoy camping, hiking and swimming!
